Faculty Artist Series: Teri Bickham, soprano and Arlene Shrut, piano
Soprano Theresa “Teri” Bickham has been praised for her “expressive legato line” and “fine piano nuances.” She made her European debut singing scenes from La Traviata under the direction of Maestro Eduardo Müller. Dr. Bickham is Assistant Professor of Voice at the UNC Greensboro School of Music.

Red Clay Saxophone Quartet • Faculty and Guest Artist Recital
The Red Clay Saxophone Quartet, comprised of UNCG faculty Steve Stusek and Mark Engebretson, along with Susan Fancher and new member Laurent Estoppey, premiere a new work (Hedera) written for them by James Paul Sain, professor at the University of Florida. Other works on the program include Chen Yi's "Not Alone," David Maslanka's, "The soul is here for its own joy" from Recitation Book, and three pieces from Guillermo Lago's "Ciudades."
