Undergraduate Advising

All freshmen in the College of Visual & Performing Arts are assigned to an advisor who specializes in freshman transition issues, teaches students how to navigate policies, procedures and tools, and can make referrals to other campus resources.

All sophomores, juniors and seniors in the College of Visual & Performing Arts are assigned to a faculty advisor within their own discipline who can serve as mentors for students planning to go into fields within the arts.

Students can look up their assigned advisor within their UNCGenie account under the Student tab, Registration, and Look up advisor.
