An Evening with the Creative Class is a series of informal presentations and discussions on the arts with a panel of curated guest artists and scholars sharing their talent in an enriching evening of community, networking, and discussion. The event will take place at Greensboro Project Space, a contemporary art space developed by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This space serves the vibrant communities in the Greensboro area. The theme for the next Evening with the Creative Class is The Camera & The Body: A Conversation with Filmmakers featuring Juel D Lane’s “The Maestro.”

This event is presented by Theatre of Movement and supported by the UNCG College of Visual and Performing Arts with support from the North Carolina Arts Council. It is produced and curated by Duane Cyrus, director of Theatre of Movement and professor in the UNCG School of Dance. Presenting artists and panelists for this event include local artists, entrepreneurs, scholars, and students.

Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are suggested to help us continue offering programs like this one. An Evening with the Creative Class is an opportunity for audiences to experience and learn more about how artists make their work and meet the talented people who help drive the artistic and creative sector of North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad region.
