Dr. Elizabeth Perrill and students from the 2014 and 2015 ARH-370 African Art classes made a two day trip to Atlanta. The group visited the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University (Day 1), including the temporary traveling exhibition African Cosmos, and the High Museum of Art (Day 2)

This Saturday (March 14), The African American Atelier, opens it’s doors to a new group exhibit entitled Steel Magnolias, featuring paintings and installation from artist Inga Kimberly Brown, www.ingakimberlybrown.com. Please come and view the exhibit and come back for the Steel Magnolias closing reception April 3rd from 5-7pm.
