Mandi Taylor received her MFA in Dance from UNCG in 2021. Her MFA thesis work, titled “We interrupt this program,” addressed interruptions in everyday life and their impact on human behavior. At UNCG she was a Graduate Teaching Associate and taught courses such as Dance Appreciation, Introduction to Dance, and Contemporary Dance, and she served as a teaching assistant to undergraduate dance history and theory courses. She was a recipient of the College of Visual and Performing Arts 2019 summer research stipend and the Kristina Larson grant; her research on dance and ageing was featured in the Graduate School’s 2020 Research and Creativity Expo.
