Lu Fan

Lu Fan earned her MFA in Dance from UNCG’s School of Dance in 2023, where she presented her thesis film Inter-Action. Lu holds a BFA degree in dance with a concentration in choreography from Jiangnan University, where she received the Best BFA Thesis Award. She has choreographed many dance works, and co-created and directed the first dance drama at Jiangnan University, based on Chinese landscape painting. In 2013, she performed dance works created by renowned choreographers at the Spring Festival Gala in Hebei Province, China. She also performed in the dance drama “Red Mountain Goddess” created by famous Chinese choreographer Huang Doudou. In addition to being a dancer and choreographer, she also has worked as an English-Chinese interpreter.
