If my school or group is interested in booking the North Carolina Theatre for Young People tour to come to my school, whom do I contact?
Contact the North Carolina Theatre for Young People office at 336-334-4015 or email email@example.com. We are currently booking the Spring NCTYP (NC Theatre for Young People) Tour, which will run Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday in February – March.
What is the age appropriateness of the North Carolina Theatre for Young People plays?
This question is answered on a play-by-play basis. Many “TYP” shows are geared for pre-school to sixth graders, while others are targeted for a middle school audience, etc. Please contact the NCTYP office at 336-334-4015 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have specific concerns about age appropriateness.
How long are the TYP shows?
At the North Carolina Theatre for Young People, we strive to have all performances under an hour. However, there are exceptions to this rule. When we offer a mainstage musical (i.e. The Sound of Music or Peter Pan) to school groups, we do perform the entire musical, which can be as long as two and a half hours. Please feel free to call the TYP office at 336-334-4015 or email email@example.com to determine the approximate length of a specific TYP performance.
What do I wear to attend the theatre?
As we are on a college campus, we do not follow a specific dress code. You are welcome to wear blue jeans, shorts, etc. We recommend business casual attire.
