2026 Falk Visiting Artist

The Falk Visiting Artist program is a partnership between the Weatherspoon Art Museum and UNCG’s School of Art. This year, the program hosts Clarence “Morgan” Morgan, an American abstract painter whose work spans painting, drawing, printmaking, and an ongoing reflective writing practice. Morgan’s dates of residence will be September 30 through October 3, 2026. Morgan’s talk will be Oct 1, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the Weatherspoon Art Museum’s Benjamin Auditorium.

The Robinson Family Fund supports a residency program made possible by the Robinson Family Fund, established by Ward Robinson (Class of 2019 PBC Jazz, 2010 MPH) and Pamela Pittman. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the fund is hosting two distinguished jazz artists at UNCG’s School of Music. John Scofield and Electrospective and vocalist Carmen Bradford will conduct residencies with students and participate in concerts open to the community.
