More Information About This process
- Only a parent or legal guardian may submit the online application for the UNCG Summer Music Camp.
- Please use a laptop or desktop computer to complete the application. Tablets and smartphones will not work with the application system.
- Before starting, carefully review the application instructions. You will need several specific details, including the name and email address of your child’s music teacher.
- Applications may not be submitted before your designated registration day. The system will not accept early submissions.
- Please do not apply for both weeks in an attempt to increase your chances of acceptance. Doing so only slows processing. If your preferred week is full when your application is reviewed, we will contact you if space is available in the alternate week.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once your online application is received, the Music Camp Office will review it and email the parent or guardian with one of three outcomes: Accepted, Wait List, or On Hold. All communication will be sent by email.
If your child is accepted, registration fees must be paid within three (3) weeks. Accepted families will also receive a PDF with preliminary information, including what to bring and check-in details.
Closer to camp, all accepted students will receive a full information packet by mail or email. This packet includes check‑in instructions, a detailed packing list, medical history and treatment permission forms, a campus map, driving directions, and all materials needed to plan a smooth and successful arrival at UNCG Summer Music Camp.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
You may cancel your Summer Music Camp application and receive a refund minus a $50 non‑refundable portion (applies to all camp fee plans) if the request is submitted at least two weeks before the start of your selected week. For 2026, the refund deadlines are:
- June 29 for Week 1 cancellations
- July 6 for Week 2 cancellations
No refunds will be issued for any reason after these deadlines. Students who arrive late or leave early are not eligible for any compensation. Camp memberships are non‑transferable, and the $50 registration deposit is non‑refundable under all circumstances.
