When you’re accepted and enroll at UNCG, just choose Arts Administration as your major or minor. Arts Administration does not have any additional admissions requirements; such as an audition or portfolio review.

Why earn your degree in Arts Administration?

You dream of a successful and thriving career in arts and culture. You are excited to shape, lead, and create the next generation of arts organizations and creative enterprises. UNCG’s Arts Administration program can help you find your path to success, defined on your own terms.

The Arts Administration Program helps you develop the skills essential to a thriving career working and in arts and culture organizations and in your own creative endeavors. With a variety of electives to complement the core curriculum, you can add additional courses in specific areas like leadership, arts program management, fundraising, marketing/communications, audience development, arts education, and more.

UNCG offers many opportunities to gain professional experience in arts administration to build your network. As an Arts Administration major, you will complete a professional internship with a professional arts and culture organization. This practicum helps you to make connections, gain tangible work experience, and launch your career.

Arts Administration as a second major or minor works well with additional degree programs in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (Art, Dance, Music or Theatre) or a degree in another area of study at UNCG.
