TRAILER
American violinist Ronald Long spends most of the year performing with major UK ensembles including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, 12 Ensemble, Aurora Orchestra, and the Chineke! Orchestra. Ronald has also performed at music festivals across the US and Europe, including the Ghent Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Eastern Music Festival, Cambridge Music Festival, Wimbledon Music Festival, and London’s BBC Proms.
When Ronald isn’t performing on stage, he works as an on-set violin coach for Hollywood actors. Recently, he worked with actor Kelvin Harrison Jr. who stars in the new film Chevalier, directed by Stephen Williams and written by Stefani Robinson. This story is based on the life of the titular French-Caribbean musician Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Ronald also had the pleasure of recording the violin solos for the movie at the famous Abbey Road Studios.
Ronald is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and studied at the Paris Conservatoire, and plans to continue his career in chamber music, teaching and inspiring young musicians.
“Such a soulful player…” – Michael Abels
