The UNCG Choral Program is nationally recognized for its excellence, artistic innovation, and dynamic performances. Our ensembles offer students a rich and varied choral experience. Through the study of repertoire spanning diverse time periods, cultures, and styles, students engage deeply with both major choral‑orchestral works and intimate chamber literature. The UNCG Choirs have been featured at state, regional, national, and international conferences.
The UNCG Choirs are dedicated to the teaching, performance, study, and cultivation of high‑quality choral music. Our mission embraces not only the Western choral canon but also music from a broad range of cultures and from both historical and contemporary composers.
We believe in the power of ensemble singing as a distinctive and meaningful form of artistic expression. Through our work, we strive to foster a community built on trust, communication, and expressive freedom.
