Opera Theatre presents ‘El Gato con Botas’ and ‘El Grumete’

Step into the classic fairy tale, “Puss in Boots,” with the UNCG Opera Theatre. Guest stage director and UNCG alum Jourdan Laine Howell brings us a wonderful setting of a familiar story composed by Xavier Montsalvatge. The evening begins with a short love triangle in “The Cabin Boy” written by Emilio Arrieta, reminiscent of Donizetti’s music.

Both operas are sung in Spanish with English supertitles and accessible for all ages.
