Summer Music Camp
Summer 2026 ∙ Week 1: July 12–17 ∙ Week 2: July 19–24

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is pleased to announce plans for our upcoming Summer Music Camp—the largest university music camp in America! This year we will offer two one‑week sessions, welcoming more than 1,600 young musicians for programs in band, chorus, orchestra, and piano.
Students learn under the guidance of the artist‑faculty of the UNCG School of Music, long recognized as a national leader in musical excellence. Distinguished teachers, performers, and conductors from across the state and nation also join our staff, ensuring every camper receives high‑quality musical instruction.
Each week emphasizes ensemble performance in band, chorus, or orchestra, culminating in a Friday evening concert for families, friends, and community members. Campers also participate in musicianship classes, recitals, and sectional rehearsals led by our faculty. Optional private lessons in instrumental music, voice, or piano are available to all campers.
The entire application process is online. Parents must submit the application using a computer (tablets and smartphones are not supported). Please allow three (3) weeks for processing.
