Honors Band Application
The UNCG Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program presents the 27th Annual Honors High School Jazz Band, November 21–22, 2026, featuring guitarist John Scofield, and UNCG Jazz Ensemble 1, conducted by Steve Haines
High school–aged North Carolina residents of all experience levels are encouraged to apply!
Hotel information and a detailed schedule of events will be provided once students receive notification that they have been selected. Thanks to our generous sponsors, there is no fee to apply or participate. Lunch will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday in our award-winning dining hall. Students must be available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22.
