The annual High School Keyboard Day gives students an opportunity to grow as musicians, to learn from faculty and fellow participants, and to explore the many opportunities as a student studying a keyboard instrument in college.

The UNCG School of Music Student Artist Competition provides an annual forum for exceptional student performers to audition for the opportunity to appear in concert with the University Symphony Orchestra. Two to three student winners are normally selected for this honor. The final round is open to the public.

The UNCG School of Music Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program is teaming up with the Greensboro-based foundation Music for Love to present a fundraising concert for student musician scholarships. The concert will feature Jazz Ensemble I performing both traditional and contemporary big band music from the albums “Music for Love, Volume 1” and “Ovision” by various artists.
