The program features distinctive works by Silvestre Revueltas, Paul Hindemith, and Darius Milhaud, highlighting modernism’s cultural influences, rhythmic vitality, and vibrant orchestral color.

School of Music faculty artist Stephanie Ycaza presents a recital showcasing the expressive range and virtuosity of the low brass repertoire. An acclaimed soloist, chamber musician, and founding member of Calypsus Brass, Ycaza is recognized for her advocacy of new music, works by women composers, and innovative programming for tuba and euphonium.
