La'Tisha Perry La’Tisha Perry, born in Bronx, New York and raised in Atlanta, Georgia began dancing at the age of five training in Tap and Jazz. She made her move to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2007 where she was awarded the opportunity to perform and travel as a Golden Delight Auxiliary twirler and dancer of the Blue & Gold Marching Machine.

nadasia scales NADASIA SCALES is a professionally trained dancer and choreographer from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Nadasia is teaching her first year of dance at KIPP Academy Charlotte. A dedicated performer, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA in Dance. As a performer, she danced with contemporary ballet companies Komanse’, Axam Dance Experience, and Total Dance Company while performing with professional sports teams such as The Atlanta Hawks, College Park Skyhawks, and The Atlanta Falcons, and held the position of captain of the Carolina Cobras dance team in Greensboro, NC. Recently, she toured with Royal Caribbean’s InTENse Aqua Show. Nadasia celebrates dance in her community and lifts her students up into the world of dance for generations to come. She will soon expand her knowledge while pursuing her Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) program for Dance Licensure at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Cynthia Collins CYNTHIA COLLINS has taught dance in private and public sectors for over 20 years. Cynthia graduated from the University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has danced professionally with companies in New York and Milwaukee. Cynthia’s teaching career has included many residencies throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Notable projects were Beyond the Classroom and The Mad Hot Ballroom Program. She has brought the joy of movement to memory care facilities throughout the area and regards these assignments as the most gratifying of her career. Cynthia teaches at Gilmore Fine Arts K-8 as the dance specialist and choreographer for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. She maintains that all her students have a gift of movement and expression and admits her joyous moments are when her students realize this as well. Cynthia is attending the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) program for Dance Licensure at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Hayley Runge HAYLEY RUNGE was born and raised in New Jersey and works in Hoke County as a middle school dance educator and dance team coach. She received her BA in Dance from Rowan University, where she studied with Paule Turner, Melanie Stewart, and Leslie Elkins. She was a member of Rowan’s modern dance company- Dance Extensions, and 3D Dance Crew- Rowan’s hip-hop team. Her work was presented in the spring showcase Versus in 2015 among eight other chosen choreographers in the program. Hayley directed the competition team at New Jerseys Got Talent dance studio from 2012 to 2015, along with guest teaching and choreographing throughout South Jersey. Haley is attending the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) program for Dance Licensure at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Michaela Jones Michaela Jones is a native of Greenville, North Carolina. She earned her B.A. in Dance with a concentration in performance, choreography, and theory from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2017. She studied at the North Carolina Academy of Dance Arts under artistic director Sherryl Tipton. She was a member of Dance Arts Theatre, established in 1985 as a pre-professional non-profit ballet company. Michaela studied with several dance faculty members, including Delia Neil, Tamara Williams, and Melissa Coyle. She works in the North Carolina public school system as a K-8 dance educator at an A+ school. In addition to public education, Michaela is a visiting guest instructor at the North Carolina Academy of Dance Arts. She teaches barre fitness at Neighborhood Barre Concord as a certified instructor. Michaela is completing a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) in Dance Education with a K-12 Licensure from the University of North Carolina (UNCG). She is pursuing an M.A. in Dance Education through the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Camryn Tucker CAMRYN TUCKER is a native of South Carolina. She earned her B.A. in Dance from USC. She is the dance teacher at Brockington Elementary School. Ms. Tucker has been dancing for 11 years and teaching and choreographing for private dance studios for eight years.  Camryn is completing a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) in Dance Education with a K-12 Licensure from the University of North Carolina (UNCG) and is pursuing an M.A. in Dance Education through the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
