This program is specifically designed for full-time music teachers looking to fulfill licensure requirements while continuing to teach. The one-year fully online PBC in Music Teacher Licensure Preparation meets the needs of full-time educators seeking to complete student teaching and coursework required for licensure in North Carolina.

Admissions Process
Application materials are submitted through The Graduate School at UNCG. Upon receipt of a complete application, the Music Education Faculty will review the application and make an admissions decision. Once an admissions decision is made, it is submitted to The Graduate School, which informs students of their official admission status. The application consists of the following:

Advancing your Education with a Master’s degree in Music Education
For students interested in pursuing the MM in music education, you must apply to that program separately. If you are admitted no later than the final term of your PBC in Music Teacher Licensure Preparation program, you may be able to count 18 credits of the PBC towards the MM. We offer an on campus and fully online MM in music education degree.
