Featured Image for Student Access to Zoom Recordings

There are two authentication options to view Zoom recording and students must first go through one of these options before gaining access to the recordings either inside or outside of Canvas.

Option 1: BEFORE clicking the recording link, the students must authenticate using their UNCG credentials at zoom.uncg.edu by clicking “Sign In” and entering their UNCG login information. THEN they can click the recording link and view the recordings.

Option 2: Authenticate using the Zoom desktop client after clicking the link. For this option you can’t simply type in your UNCG credentials into the Zoom login window as if you have a Zoom account. You must click “Login with SSO” and then when prompted type “uncg” in the next window that asks for the “company domain” and click Continue. Then use your UNCG credentials to login and view the video. This process is also outlined here under the heading “Zoom Desktop Client.”

These two options are the only way to view the videos. UNCG ITS is aware that going through these steps can be problematic and is researching a better alternative, but until then, one of these steps must be followed.
