The Universal Design Online content Inspection Tool, or UDOIT, helps faculty identify accessibility issues in Canvas course content. With the click of a button, UDOIT scans a course, generates a report, and provides resources on how to address common accessibility issues.

Created by the Center for Distributed Learning at the University of Central Florida, UDOIT identifies errors and provide suggestions in the following areas of a course:

  • Announcements
  • Assignments
  • Discussions
  • Files
  • Pages
  • Syllabus
  • Module URLs

The UDOIT User Guide provides more information on using UDOIT at UNCG.

To enable UDOIT and for support resources, see Universal Design Online Content Inspection Tool (UDOIT) in Canvas.
