The Master of Music in Music Performance requires 32 credit hours for all concentrations except collaborative piano (33 credit hours), piano pedagogy (35 credit hours), and vocal pedagogy (35 credit hours). Our MM programs offer conservatory-type performance training, complemented with academic offerings directly related to careers in performance. MM in Music Performance students graduate with performance and entrepreneurial skills enabling entry into the profession or further studies.

Applied lesson instruction may require collaboration with an accompanist. Students within the School of Music are responsible for securing their own accompanist for lessons and curricular performances. Fees will be negotiated with the collaborative pianist in advance and may include rehearsal fees. At the beginning of each semester, discuss accompanist needs with your studio professor.
