Double Reed Day: November 15, 2025

Where: UNC Greensboro School of Music, 100 McIver St, Greensboro, NC

Who: Middle and high school double reed players, parents, band directors, and teachers! We will start or switch your beginners.
Description: This year Double Reed Day will focus on preparing the excerpts and scales for the NCMEA All State and All District auditions.
What to expect:
- Clinics on NCMEA All State and All District audition material.
- Sessions for beginning oboists and bassoonists. Band directors welcome!
- Masterclasses with Ryan Reynolds and Courtney Miller
- Faculty Recital
- Double Reed Choir
- Raffle for double reed gear
- Parent Information Session
- 20 minute Mini-Lessons with Drs. Miller and Reynolds available before and after the event – first come first serve
