College of Visual and Performing Arts Dean bruce d. mcclung has announced the appointment of Andrew Eisenman as Visiting Assistant Professor of Acting. 

Andrew Eisenman has worked for over twenty years as an actor, director, and producer in New York. He served as the Associate Director at Ma-Yi Theater Company and is a founding company member of the Leviathan Lab and American Bard Theater. In Los Angeles he was an Instructor of Acting at the New York Film Academy (Los Angeles) and a Teaching Artist/Director at Our Gang Teen Ensemble.  

As an actor, Andrew has performed with various professional companies such as The Public Theater, New Group, Ma-Yi Theater, The Fountain Theater, and the National Asian American Theater Company among others. Film and television credits include The Sopranos (Priest) and Rigadon (The Listener). 

Born and raised in the Philippines, Eisenman began his career in theatre at a very young age. He joined Teatro Kabataan and performed with companies such as Repertory Philippines and the Cultural Center of the Philippines.  

Eisenman holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theater Arts, Acting from Brandeis University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Drama from San Francisco State University. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity.
