Web Accessibility 101: Level One is now available in Canvas! This asynchronous, self-paced course is the first of three levels that focuses on making online content accessible for everyone. Level One covers basic accessibility fundamentals that you need to know to ensure that your content is accessible to your entire audience. If you create content that is posted or shared on a web page, in a course, in an email, through social media or other modes of online communication, then this course is for you!

Level One is open to everyone, but is especially critical for positions that are directly impacted by web accessibility. Positions that fall into this category will receive additional communication from their department or unit leaders regarding how and when to complete Level One. All Level One participants will receive a badge and certificate upon completion, which faculty can use to count towards the continuing professional development requirement for online instructors.

Enroll in Level One now! See Web Accessibility 101 Information for more details, or contact Melanie Eley at accessibility@uncg.edu.
