On March 16 UNCG officially offered Zoom to faculty and staff for use in various applications throughout the University community. Since that time there have been some security concerns with securing Zoom meetings and best practices associated with using the tool.

UNCG ITS has compiled knowledge base articles that address Zoom security issues and “Zoom bombing” and suggestions for securing Zoom sessions to avoid any problems during use in an educational capacity at UNCG.

ITS’s article on Best Practices for Learning, Teaching, and Working provides great information for using Zoom at UNCG. I urge all to read and follow this succinct and helpful document.
