The Kaju & Lina Piano Duo formed as teaching colleagues in Wisconsin, united by a passion for collaborative performance. Their programs blend classic works with music by underrepresented composers, offering both tradition and fresh discovery. After touring widely across the Midwest, they now share warm, engaging performances worldwide through concerts, education, and creative collaborations.
Dr. Julianne Kirk Doyle is Professor of Clarinet at the SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music and an active soloist, chamber musician, and advocate for new music. A founding member of the Aria Reed Trio and Principal Clarinet of the Orchestra of Northern New York, Dr. Doyle is known for her championing of contemporary repertoire and her expertise in addressing Stress Velopharyngeal Insufficiency (SVPI) in wind playing.
Prof. Steve Haines, interim director of the Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program, joins colleagues and friends for a special concert celebrating his return to performing and teaching. This performance is free to attend, but a ticket reservation is requested.
