BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS IN DRAMA OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama emphasizes that theatre is a discipline involving three basic factors: talent, study, and practice. Only students who show evidence of talent and who work to perfect it through classroom study combined with practical application in the production program will be continued in the major.
BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS IN ACTING
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting educates students who are literate in the history, theory, and practice of theatre, and have particular training relevant to performing for the stage, film, and television. BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS IN MUSICAL THEATRE
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre educates students who are literate in the history, theory, and practice of theatre, and have particular training relevant to performing for the stage in musicals, as well as for film and television. The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design / Technology educates students who are literate in the history, theory, and practice of theatre, and have particular training in designing for the stage and stage technology.
BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS IN THEATRE EDUCATION
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education educates students who are literate in the history, theory, and practice of theatre, and have particular training to become effective, qualified theatre arts teachers for grades K-12.
