The School of Theatre invites you to join us as we Frame the Work we produce. Frame/Works is intended to share the contextual underpinnings of our theatrical productions – the how, the who, the what, the when and the why. Frame/Works brings to light the important conversations that are often had before, during and after a piece of theatre is created and shared. Often after audience members attend a performance, they depart and have conversations about what they’ve seen – how is it relevant in our current context? Why were certain choices made in the production? What resonated and why? Frame/Works invites you to come back and talk with us – let us tell you a bit about our process – from inspiration to imagining to implementation. We believe audiences are essential collaborators in the creative process – so tell us what you ascertained and ask a few questions. We look forward to engaging with you as we collectively Frame the Work!
