Faculty, Students, and Friends Chamber Recital

Join us for an evening of chamber music presented by UNCG faculty, students, and friends. The program features Claude Debussy’s Piano Trio in G minor, an elegant early work, alongside Felix Mendelssohn’s String Octet in E-flat Major, op. 20, a celebrated cornerstone of the chamber repertoire.

Sinfonia: Folk Tunes and Folk Tales

The Sinfonia presents “Folk Tunes and Folk Tales,” a program examining folk traditions through diverse musical lenses. Led by Scott Glasser with graduate conductors Jennifer Aikey and Jordan Owen, the concert features works by Biber, Fletcher, Mosier, and a traditional Korean setting.

Suyahan Guest Artist Feature Horsehead Fiddle School of Music

Symphony Orchestra

The UNCG Symphony Orchestra welcomes Mongolian horsehead fiddle virtuoso Suyahan, guest composer Hexigetu (Wenze), and Student Artist Competition first prize winner Siana Wong for a program featuring music by Weber, Sibelius, and Brahms. The concert also includes the world premiere of a new work by Hexigetu (Wenze), blending classical tradition with contemporary artistry.
