Featuring works by Ida Gotkovsky, Charles Ives, Johann de Meij, and Matt Browne, the concert moves from quiet contemplation to fiery exhilaration.

Casella Sinfonietta: Faculty/Student Side-by-Side

The Casella Sinfonietta brings faculty and student musicians together for “This is Modernism?” in a side-by-side exploration of the bold sounds of the early 20th century. Featuring works by Silvestre Revueltas, Paul Hindemith, and Darius Milhaud, the program explores modernism’s cultural influences, rhythmic vitality, and vibrant orchestral color, with faculty violist Scott Rawls appearing as featured soloist.
