An exhilarating evening of contemporary percussion featuring the Stone’s Throw Quartet—Dan Hartung, MK Phillips, Louis Raymond‑Kolker, and Alex Richard—with guest artists Carey Harwood (guitar) and Ajai Shaw (itótele). The program highlights works by Tarpaga, Trevino, De Mey, Bobo, Dorman, and new pieces by members of the ensemble.

The concert includes music by Reena Esmail, Julie Giroux, Nathan Daugherty, Carlos Simon, Rossano Galante, and Carol Brittin Chambers, showcasing a wide range of musical voices.

“Música para Todos” brings together the Lorena Guillén Tango Ensemble, the UNCG Sinfonia led by Scott Glasser, and the Weaver Academy Strings directed by James DeFiglia for a vibrant celebration of community and culture. Guest singers Dora Cardona and Dalia Razo join this special event honoring the work of Casa Azul of Greensboro.
