The concert features Copland’s vibrant “Hoe-Down” from “Rodeo,” Gershwin’s iconic “Rhapsody in Blue” with faculty pianist Alessandra Feris, and Brahms’ monumental Symphony No. 1, a cornerstone of the symphonic repertoire.
As part of the Daniel Ericourt Artist Residency, GRAMMY® Award-winning pianist Michelle Cann presents a recital showcasing the artistry that has made her one of the most sought-after musicians of her generation. Renowned for her acclaimed performances, recordings, and advocacy of Florence Price’s music, Cann has appeared with many of the world’s leading orchestras and concert series.
