Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is joined by Dr. Garrett Klein, professor of trumpet, and Spanish conductor Juan José Navarro for an eclectic program featuring the works of Oscar Navarro, Ulysses Kay, Philip Sparke, Manuel Martínez, and Percy Grainger.

Wind Ensemble

Student Artist Competition second prize winner Taylor Stirm and Spanish conductor Juan José Navarro join the Wind Ensemble for a program of works by faculty composer Mark Engebretson, Arnold Schoenberg, Scott McAllister, Amando Blanquer Ponsoda, Luis Serrano Alarcón, and Jaime Texidor.

Hub New Music

Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble will be joined by contemporary music trailblazers Hub New Music and composer Gala Flagello. Currently based in Detroit, the ensemble’s name is inspired by its founding city of Boston’s reputation as a hub of innovation.
