The Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program celebrates jazz legend and High Point native John Coltrane with a semester-long tribute beginning with Jazz Ensembles I and II. Under the direction of Chad Eby and Steve Haines, these outstanding student artists showcase the legacy of one of the most influential figures in jazz history.

The UNCG Wind Ensemble welcomes acclaimed faculty soprano Lindsay Kesselman for a compelling program featuring works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Dennis Llinás, Roger Zare, and Florent Schmitt, along with the premiere of a new work by Gala Flagello.

Wind Ensemble

The UNCG Wind Ensemble presents a program that celebrates creativity and imagination, featuring a world premiere by student composer Chance Gatewood and a concerto performance by flutist Joeli Schilling, third-prize winner of the School of Music Student Artist Competition. Works by Joel Puckett, Percy Grainger, and David Maslanka round out an evening of youthful energy and expressive depth.
