Present Continuous, directed by Dr. Luke Ellard, is an ensemble dedicated to exploring influential works in contemporary music. Designed for advanced performers, the group provides hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge repertoire, innovative techniques, and collaborative projects with living composers.
Abele Saxophone Quartet
The Abele Saxophone Quartet performs works by Mark Engebretson and Bob Reynolds, alongside world premieres by UNCG student composers Liam Deen, Chance Gatewood, Mariah McClammy, Ward Robinson, and Vincent Trotta. The quartet features Susan Fancher (Duke University), Rahsaan Barber and Heidi Radtke (UNC Chapel Hill), and Mark Engebretson (UNCG).
