Summary:
The play is a Latin American adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone. Antígona Pérez is a political prisoner awaiting execution while held captive in the palace of dictator Creón Molina. She refuses to disclose the location of the bodies of her comrades who attempted to assassinate Creón. As a result, she is confined to a dungeon. During her stay, visitors come to question her and test her values.
