VENUES
UNCG Auditorium
The UNCG Auditorium seats 1,642 is used for musical productions, operas, orchestras, bands, University Concert and Lecture Series, faculty and guest performances, and various other performing arts events. UNCG Auditorium is located on the corner of Spring Garden and Tate Street. UNCG Auditorium is handicapped-accessible and features hearing-assistance listening devices.
TEW RECITAL HALL
The 350-seat Recital Hall is the primary performance space in the Music Building. Christopher and Laura Braxton Tew, both UNCG Class of 1969 alumni, provided a generous gift of $1 million to name the hall, honor the School of Music, and mark the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1969’s graduation.
ORGAN HALL
The 130-seat Organ Recital Hall provides an intimate atmosphere, featuring a stunning 35-rank pipe organ made by the Andover Organ Company of Massachusetts.
