The 36th Annual Carolina Band Festival and Conductors Conference ∙ The Wind Ensemble presents a bright, energetic program of works by John Philip Sousa, Carolyn Bremer, Ingolf Dahl, Morton Gould, and Leonard Bernstein. They will be joined by Dr. Robert Young, professor of saxophone, and festival guest clinicians Sarah McKoin, William L. Lake, Jr., and John R. Locke.

Brazilian pianist Alessandra Feris is internationally recognized for her artistry and advocacy of Latin-American piano music, with performances across the Americas and Europe. A dedicated educator and frequent adjudicator, she has given masterclasses worldwide and premiered numerous contemporary works. Dr. Feris recently joined the UNC Greensboro faculty as Assistant Professor of Piano.

The Symphony Orchestra welcomes Mongolian horsehead fiddle virtuoso Suyahan for a special program showcasing works by Weber, Tchaikovsky, and Brahms. The evening also features the world premiere of a new piece by Chinese composer 温泽 (Wenze), highlighting a dynamic blend of classical tradition and contemporary artistry.
