CVPA Event Parking
The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) hosts classes, events, exhibitions, and performances in a number of spaces on our campus.

UNCG Auditorium
Parking is available in unreserved spaces in the Tate Street Parking Lot between Spring Garden and Gate City Boulevard. Please do not park in spaces reserved for the Weatherspoon Art Museum. For weekday, daytime shows, parking is also available off of Tate Street and surrounding streets.
Music Building (Tew Recital Hall, Organ Hall)

McIver Parking Deck located off of McIver Street directly adjacent to the School of Music. Paid parking during business hours: $2/first hour, $1/additional hours, up to $7 max
Accessible Parking (Music Building)
Metered parking for handicapped patrons is available in the circle drive directly in front of the School of Music. Designated spaces are also available on each floor of the McIver Parking Deck located directly adjacent to the Music Building. Standard hourly/daily rates apply.
A state Department of Motor Vehicles issued handicap placard must be displayed when parking in any designated handicap space on campus.
Sprinkle Theatre
Parking is available in unreserved spaces in the Tate Street Parking Lot between Spring Garden and Lee Streets. Please do not park in spaces reserved for the Weatherspoon Art Museum. For weekday, daytime shows, parking is also available off of Tate Street and surrounding streets.
Taylor Theatre
Parking is available in unreserved spaces in the Tate Street Parking Lot between Spring Garden and Lee Streets. Please do not park in spaces reserved for the Weatherspoon Art Museum. For weekday, daytime shows, parking is also available off of Tate Street and surrounding streets.
Dance Theatre
Parking is located in the Walker Parking Deck, directly across from the Coleman Building (formerly HHP).

Greensboro Project Space
Greensboro Project Space (GPS) is off-campus, in downtown Greensboro. There is no parking directly in front of the gallery on E. Feb One Place, however local parking options include street parking (metered and non-metered options) and parking garages, all within walking distance to the gallery. The closest available parking is directly next door in the February One parking deck (entrances on Market St or Davie St). Exit through the bottom level of the garage to find yourself on our street, just a few yards from the gallery entrance. Otherwise, usual downtown parking options apply.
GPS is wheelchair accessible with a ramp into the space and another ramp through the hallway into the lower galleries, along with ADA compliant restrooms.

Gatewood Studio Arts Building
For evening events parking is available in unreserved spaces in the Tate Street Surface Parking Lot #7 Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 7:00am. Lot #7 is between Spring Garden and Lee Streets and directly next to the next to the Gatewood Studio Arts Building. Please do not park in spaces reserved for the Weatherspoon Art Museum.
For weekday, daytime shows, parking is available along Tate Street, at meters throughout camps, and in the three parking decks on campus. The Oakland Parking Deck is .3 miles from the Gatewood and located at 690 Forest St. It is visible from Spring Garden Street and is accessible from Kenilworth Street and Oakland Ave. Oakland Deck is attended weekdays during fall and spring semesters. The three parking decks are open to visitors on a space available, pay-by-hour basis. All three decks are $2 first hour and $1 for each consecutive hour with $10 day/entry maximum and accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard at Exit Express Stations.
For weekend events vehicles may park in in the Tate Street Surface Parking Lot #7 parking spaces with or without a permit from 5:00pm Friday through 12:00am midnight Sunday. After midnight Sunday, vehicles parked in surface lots without a permit are subject to standard enforcement.
