Community Music Lessons
The School of Music offers private music instruction to members of the Greensboro community on campus through the Community Music Lessons (CML) (formerly the Private Lessons Program). This is an opportunity for our undergraduate and graduate student population to gain valuable one-on-one teaching experience during their time at UNCG. In addition to providing professional experience for our students, participating in lessons will allow more Greensboro community members of all ages to experience the joy and accomplishment of gaining artistic and technical skills in music.
All lessons take place at the School of Music on UNC-Greensboro campus.

Your instructor will meet you in the entrance/lobby by the Administrative Offices and Box Office.

- After you are matched with an instructor you will be directed to our Registration and Payment Page.
Payment Information
Before paying for lessons, please make sure you have received a confirmation email from CML.
To electronically purchase a CML Package:
If paying by check, please be sure to complete this form and submit with check at time of payment
UNCG On-Campus Payments can be made at one of our Box Office locations.
Scholarship application is available upon request and dependent on availability.

Parking Information
Driving Directions to the School of Music can be found here.
You are welcome to park in the McIver Parking Deck, located directly across from the Music Building on McIver Street. Parking costs $2/first hour, $1/each additional hour, up to $7 max; cash only.
There is also free 2-hour parking on Tate Street, McIver, and East Lake Drive.
