The Post-Baccalaureate Licensure in Dance Education (PBL) is an optional course of study for full-time graduate students already enrolled in the in-person MA and MFA in Dance Programs. Graduate students in the PBL program obtain a K-12 dance teaching license during their time at UNCG.  PBL coursework is completed alongside the requirements for MA or MFA degree programs.

The PBL program prepares students to teach dance in public schools nationwide. Students pursuing this additional licensure will complete a one-semester, full-time internship student teaching in a North Carolina public school.
