Chloe Arterberry, dance student

Chloe Arterberry

BFA Dance: Choreography/Performance

“I love it here. There’s such a vast range that we study—from African to Ballet to Contemporary. There’s so much space for me to figure out where I fit. My professors gave me so much agency.

“I can’t choose one style of dance, so I just do it all. UNCG School of Dance has given me space to grow into the artist who I want to be.”

Art student Meghan Fox

Meghan Fox

BFA Art Education (K-12)

“I want to teach middle school. If I can just help provide a safe space for expression and influence one more artist in the world or one more good person, then that’s what teaching means to me.

“Also, middle school is usually the time when students either pick up a hobby or drop it. I love being able to give them a positive experience with art that may make an impact in the future.”

Theatre student Maya McCall as Ericka in "School Girls"

Maya McCall

BA Drama with minor in Technical Theatre

“I’m excited to dip my toes into a lot of things but mostly with children’s theatre. I want to help children experience what I did when I found my love for theatre.

“One thing I really love about being a BA drama student is that you get to focus on so many different areas. I’ve taken so many kinds of classes in technical theater and performance. That’s helped me created well-rounded profile as a theatre educator.”
