Summary:
In a fractured society where survival depends on control of dwindling resources, two rival factions battle for power. The Capulets, fierce rulers of the city’s remaining infrastructure, maintain dominance through fear, order, and resource hoarding. Beyond their walls, the Montagues thrive off natural resources and reject centralized control, creating a volatile divide fueled by generations of violence and distrust.
Romeo and Juliet follows two young people who dare to imagine a future beyond inherited conflict. As political alliances tighten and tensions erupt in the streets, their secret love becomes an act of rebellion against a world determined to divide them.
In this dystopian reimagining, the tragedy is not simply the loss of young love, but the devastating cost of systems that value power over humanity, loyalty over connection, and survival over healing.
