Summary:
Nick Dear’s electrifying adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein retells the classic tale through the eyes of the Creature—a being brought to life by the brilliant but tormented Victor Frankenstein. Abandoned at birth and shunned by all, the Creature searches for love, only to find cruelty. As he learns language, empathy, and rage, his desire for belonging turns into a thirst for vengeance. What begins as a scientific triumph spirals into a brutal battle between creator and creation—bound by horror, hatred, and an inescapable fate.
UNCG School of Theatre’s license to present Nick Dear’s version of FRANKENSTEIN from the novel by Mary Shelley is granted by Rosica Colin Limited, London.
