From UNCG ITS: “As a result of sweeping state-wide budget reductions, UNC System mandates, and the findings of the IT Controls Audit conducted by the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor, UNCG Information Technology Services was forced to evaluate IT services and consolidate many of its duplicate technologies, applications, platforms, and services. These changes, although difficult in the short term, will maximize the University’s return on investment while making technology management at UNCG more efficient.”

As CVPA staff, faculty, and admin have questions about these new initiatives, I would encourage you to visit technologyinitiatives.uncg.edu often for updates and submit your questions using the tool on that site.
