The Mary Channing Coleman building, home to the School of Dance, is currently undergoing renovations to the old swimming pool and other areas. The pool, closed in July 2016, is being converted into two sprawling dance studios, bringing the total number of dedicated dance studio spaces to six. These new spaces are to be completed in Fall 2017.

In addition, the Rosenthal wing lobby is getting a facelift with the removal of the staircase and relocation of the box office to the back of the Dance Theater. On the second floor, the locker rooms, dressing rooms, and green room are being reconfigured to provide more space for our growing department. Construction on the Rosenthal wing is to be finished by Spring 2018. In the meantime, the dance offices are being housed on the third floor of the McIver building near Tate Street.
