Pixar production designer, Ralph Eggleston will visit campus, Friday, November 20.
He will give a public lecture that afternoon at 5:30 in the Sullivan Science Building, Rm 101. This event is freeand open to the community.
Trained in character animation at Cal Arts, Ralph Eggleston started at Pixar in 1993 as the art director of Toy Story. Since then Eggleston has contributed his art and creativity to numerous Pixar films, including serving as an art director for The Incredibles and Up, and production designer for Finding Nemo, WALL·E, and most recently, Inside Out.
He also won an Academy Award in 2002 for the Pixar short, For the Birds, which he wrote and directed.
