Students, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate visiting scholar Yiling Fu as her visit to UNCG came to an end in February. Yiling is the Vice Director of the Dance department at Guangxi University in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Yiling was selected for a prestigious award that allowed her to spend six months in the United States studying American dance forms. She arrived at UNCG in September, and spent time observing and participating in various classes offered by the Dance department. The video below is Yiling’s farewell speech at the reception held in her honor. We wish Yiling all the best and look forward to being able to work with her in the future.
