Streamed Event
Roman Fever is a 60-minute one-act opera by Pulitzer-Prize-Winning composer Robert Ward based on the short story Edith Wharton. The opera is set in 1927 in a terrace restaurant overlooking the Roman Forum, where two widows and their daughters have met by chance. The widows knew each other in the past, but during the course of the opera, we learn the full story of the their meeting in the same place twenty years earlier including a mysterious love triangle.
Audiences and Tickets
Tickets are required to attend any performance in person. You must pre-register for a ticket at the link provided (eTix) prior to the event. For purposes of contract tracing, patrons must sit in their assigned seat.
Livestreaming
Seating for patrons will be limited due to social distancing measures. In order to maximize potential audiences and stay connected with families, concerts and recitals will be available via livestream.
Recital Programs
In an effort to reduce contact, recital programs will be made available online (PDF) for those who would prefer to view them on a tablet or smartphone. Fifty (50) printed copies will be provided to the recital presenter for archival purposes.
